Really ? Kick 'em out on a country road with the mask used in the robbery and then expected to keep it until whenever ? LOL !! Love the movie for the 'noir', but really, how could that one have escaped anyone involved in making this movie ?

I don't understand why you think they couldn't have kept the masks until "whenever". Just stick it in your jacket, or fold it and stick it in your pocket. Why is that implausible?
