it looked more like she was giving him mouth to mouth resusitation! I didn't see the movie-just the TCM previews. Just thought the kiss was humorous. :)
shareProbably because Alan Ladd was so short he was standing on a ladder to kiss her. I've read I many of his movies a trench was dug for taller actors to walk in Ladd wouldn't appear so short.
