The Greatest Show on Earth was all spectacle and hype. It dazzled the Oscar voters as it did audiences back then. Come to think of it is that really any different from today? (Top Movie last week - Guardians of the Galaxy)

First you call it a joke, then a travesty. I can't see which film wins the best picture award is either a joke or a travesty. What is funny about it? I saw both films and like "Hihg Noon" better. Still, I cannot understand what is funny or a travesty. You seem like someone whose shoes are too tight. What is the problem?
