Anybody notice how the climactic shootout was ruined by cartoon music?

During the gunfight at the end, the theme song was constantly played by the orchestra...variations, repetitions...it was loud and relentless, like the music in a Tom n' Jerry or Bugs Bunny cartoon.

Heightened the suspense for me.

I think she's the same one who said she drives with a prescription windshield instead of wearing glasses.

Who is that?

The only bad thing in this movie. I rated it 7 because of this irritating music.

I hadn't noticed, to be honest.

It was a slightly different style of film making back then. Music tended to be throughout the entire film.
