Ditch Erica Hill and promote Shenielle Jones as a leading anchor

Weekend Today with no Lester Holt, has been boring and awful. Erica Hill is meeh and is interesting as a wet carott.

Lester Holt is not on Weekend Today and if he gets promoted to Nightly News then they need to get rid of Erica Hill and promote Shenielle Jones. They did it with Jenna Wolfe, they can do it to Erica Hill. Lester not hosting Weekend Today there does not seem anything at stake with Weekend Today.

Erica is boring and vanilla for the show to lead with her and she has no chemistry with any of her co-anchors. Shenielle will do good work for Weekend Today, she is vibrant, has personality and seems very intelligent. She seems like someone who can host a show no problem.

NBC make the right decision and get rid of Erica and promote Sheinelle.

She is awful, corny, looks crazy with her cross deer eyes and she thinks that she is smarter and can outwit everyone on the show.

Erica talks way too fast. Half the time I can't understand what she's saying.

I know how does she even keep a job is a mystery. She sucked at CBS when she was there and now the Weekend Today show is going to suck now that Lester is leaving the show. So glad that he is finally moving to better pastures then being stuck with that hyper motormouth.

Shenielle filled in for Erica the last couple of weekends. She is much better at hosting the program then Erica. The show is lacking magic ever since Lester left. Sheinelle is probably the best chance they have to keep the program interesting. Erica is dry and looks like an old lady trying to blend in next to Shenielle and Dylan. If NBC worker comes across this board, now that Lester has been promoted they can do some necessary changes to the Weekend show.

Promote Sheinelle to co-anchor
Promote Frances Riviera as the newsreader
Keep Dylan Dreyer

Move Erica Hill to MSNBC and let her be a sidekick to a MSNBC anchor.

So has NBC officially replaced Lester Holt with Carson Daly on the weekend broadcast?

I think Carson Daly is still filling in he is not a permanent host. They are doing rotation with the male hosts.

If watch the intro of the weekend program the announcer says "This is Today! Live at Rockerfeller Plaza!"

There is officially no permanent hosts.

Noticed Sheinelle wasn't on this weekend. Going to assume she's on vacation. But I thought she also wasn't on last weekend either. I may be wrong though and it was a previous weekend.
