How long is the today show actually?

The first "three hours" I'm pretty sure is no more than 45 minutes long. ALL the commercials and all the breaks back to local news is crazy. The local news is on a half hour before. I blaze through a today show on dvr. Especially when I'm hoping to see if Natalie is on for more than 5 minutes during the entire show.

Today is a 4 hour news show. Originally only 2 hours l, expanded to 3 and now 4 which I find ridiculous but it's just NBC's way of not having any daytime program. I wouldn't be surprise if it expands to 5 hours. NBC alone has news that start around 4 am and runs until around 11 am in the morning and it's basically just repeated information.
