This is the problem with the Today.

Ive been a loyal viewer since the early 90's. I loved the segments like Today Throws a Wedding, and Where In The World Is Matt Lauer? But these few years, I just dont understand the flow of the program. I enjoy the first 2 hrs. I do like Matt, Savannah, and Natalie. But I dont get the orange set and the orange room. Looks like the 70's. I dont get the third hour, which rehashes the first 2 hours. But with more anchors, one being a complete moron (Tamryn). THEN there is a 4th hour, co-anchored by Kathie Lee, who shouldnt be on TV PERIOD. Shes so condescending and mean to Hoda. And Hoda is too smart for this gig. And the commercials! Dear Lord! Way too many commercials. I personally think the Today Show would do better as a 3 hr show, with the same 4-6 anchors. And bring back the favorite segments. Get rid of an Orange Room, and the Kathie Lee and Hoda BS. It all just seems like a disorganized mess.

I lost a lot of respect for Today. I used to watch Today every morning back in the 1990's getting ready for school. As a matter of fact, Bryant Gumbel is the reason I want to go into News. But after watching the show fro years, I grew so tired with the utter nonsense and tasteless celebrity news stories. I swear they waste more time talking about the Royal Family than anything. I recently stopped following Today on Facebook, because I grew sick of the stupid coverage of celebrities and goofing. I miss the days when Today was just two hours and afterwards you had other programs. I mean you have Today on for 4 hours? That's ridiculous. The thing is, no one really cares so much after 9 what goes on. Now, it's really by 8:30 is when the *beep* starts.

I actually think the Kathy Lee and Hoda segment is the best part of Today. Granted I only watch once in a while and they both seem drunk in the morning but they are hilarious together.

Hoda and KLG --- what a phony, over the top, terrible segment! The wide eyes, acting like bottom of the barrel stories are a big deal, and I swear Gifford stares into space half the time and looks terrible! Some contributions! Who cares about a "perfect" looking salad that nobody is going to recreate like the run of the mill foodie on set!? And peek a boo bras!? What. The. Holy muther F is this ??
I'm shocked people watch this. They probably like That cartoon rendering of themselves cause then they look like skinny stick figures. It must be only background filler on people's TVs.
