Absence of Harley Cooper?
Does anyone know why Harley Cooper Was not in the last episodes? I just watch the last episode for closure. I use to watch the show faithfully. Help. :)
shareFor one thing the actress that played Harley did not leave the show under the best circumstances. Beth Ehlers quit the show supposedly because she didn't like where it was headed. So Harley was written out by having her leave town with her sons.
Even if she had left on a high note and been welcomed back lovingly ABC wasn't willing to let its actors go back to GL one last time. Apparently Jerry Ver Dorn had wanted to go back and was told he couldn't do it.
They were out to spend as little money as possible to bring old characters back. Many of the old cast wanted to come back to say goodbye. The show chose who they wanted but Wheeler & Co had no interest in bringing most of them in even for a cameo.
Wheeler should have given us what we wanted which was more of the old favorites.
