One Fast Injun ~ WRONG CAST!

What a delightful cast not to have listed correctly! It includes Walter Burke, Dub Taylor and other colorful characters. What a shame I didn't check while I was watching it or I could have listed in this thread.

I no longer try to add or correct anything at IMDb because most of them time the site pays no attention. *sigh*

Sometimes you have to keep after the folks at IMDB.

For the longest time they listed a particular quote from John Ford's Stagecoach as spoken by the Cheyenne Scout, despite the fact that the character had no dialogue in the film whatsoever.

It was actually spoken by Chris Pin Martin - it was the bit about his wife leaving and stealing his horse that he beat with a whip.

I attempted to correct that mistake for a couple of years, submitting the correction many, MANY times. I kept saying the scout has no dialogue! I even started challenging them to watch the movie and see for themselves.

It took them a few years but they *finally* removed it. The quote now shows the correct information.

But it wasn't easy....

I'm generally a very stubborn person, but it was aggravating to realize that I had to completely assemble the information (songs featured in films) all over again. I guess I was too optimistic and thought that, if I filled out the form carefully, that would be it. Now I know that I'd have to be sure to keep a copy just in case.

I've tried to correct quotations and never succeeded. Some of the quotations they have are so far off. I, too, have seen quotations connected with the wrong characters. Maybe I need to be persistent, but it's easier to make a thread about many things. Maybe I'm getting wimpy in my old age. *wry smile*

Yes, it's very frustrating, and I've just about given up wasting time on corrections. Twice I submitted actresses' names after seeing them listed in the actual on-screen credits, but I was ignored. So now I submit only goofs--and only those that I'm pretty sure will be accepted, because I explain them so fully.

I've been taping end credits and plan to have them in a thread I started. I just do not want to battle through IMDb's form for each episode.

I missed the two on Friday, April 18; but, I hope I'll be able to get the rest added to my thread in the near future. ***Knock on wood!!!***

IMDb is not very correction-friendly or even for additions. I've tried a couple of times, and both times it was a frustrating, time-consuming experience. Seeing errors is, I'm sure, a pet peeve for many TV/film fans.
