I've always wondered how/where they recorded that. During the closing credits it plays twice. But the second time there's a slight echo to it, as though it was played out in the mountains:

Was your uncle Harry Glantz? He did the original bugle playing on the radio, and I believe they carried that recording over into the TV version.
