Deborah Keer looks so graceless as always had been. She looked OLD even when she was young with that skinny body of hers. Bird's face. Who knows some few English people like her nowadays... a fistful. She looked just a bit better in a movie with Bob Mitchum.

The line about "narrow hips" is taken directly from the novel. Petronius persuades Nero into not finding Lygia attractive, so his nephew would be allowed to get her. It has nothing to do with Deborah Kerr, not really.
