i noticed that there was only one board for this film, so i decided to post another one.
i bought a copy of thi smovie when i was going through my corny monster movie phase. i haven't seen it in years, but it's a fun little movie.

hi out there. i dug this movie out for halloween and remembered how much it fascinated me as a small kid. upon finding out that it was the first film about a man from outer space visiting, i thought about how many steven spielberg-isms are in it. especially the end when the close-ups of the faces are presented. i thought for a while that 'the day the earth stood still' was the one to show these close-ups of people (after klaatu's message). in any event i like to think that this was the movie that he (from haddonfield nj) saw at the same time as i (from philadelphia pa) while watching local tv!! also notice how much the space ship looks like the ship in e.t.? pointy. as a last thought, maybe robert wise was also influenced by this film........bye
