8 Below, Psycho, and The Man From Planet X

**SPOILERS**( in case you haven't seen all three movies yet)

I know you're thinking why are these three movies mentioned in one subject line. Well, because in my 50 odd years of going to movies, these three got the biggest heart stopping throat closing scares out of me of any movies. And I would rate them all about the same level of "startle"--high.

When the alien head appears in the space ship window for the first time, when the dead skeleton lady in the rocking chair jumps out of the screen at you, and when the leopard seal jumps out at you from the hole in the dead whale.

I mean to tell you I think my heart stopped in each of those scenes....

"We're going to need a bigger boat..."

Yet another corrected on the difference between asking questions and making statements.

My son did that to me over the scene in Jaws when Gardners (?) head comes out of the hole in the boat. I jumped and spilled my popcorn.
