An homage to Potemkin?

In the very beginning (4:00), when the people are running across the bridge and down the hill and the bombs start to fall, there is an extreme close-up of woman screaming with her mouth wide open. Was anyone else reminded of the Odessa Steps sequence in The Battleship Potemkin?
