Good 50's noir flick.
I enjoyed this movie alot. Always liked Alan Ladd, it was fast moving, plot somewhat different, tension filled ending. I give a B+.

This is a good one. Seeing Harry Morgan and Jack Webb as a pair of hoods was amusing. Harry Morgan's stutter added to his dim wit charachter.
The scene with Alan Ladd trying to give the nun a Colt automatic was cute.
I think Alan Ladd did more to sell Colt Model 1903s amd 1908s (the "Pocket Automatics") than any other salesman considering he had one in just about every movie except "Shane"..
Watched it today and I agree
