There were signs, but not clear, at least to me. I enjoyed the movie, but don't consider it great.

Funny thing is it was Julius Caesar and Cleopatra that spent a month traveling down the Nile and 9 months later Cleopatra has a baby she names Ceasarion. This was MEME'd to hell and back when Game of Throwns did the same thing with Jon Snow and Daenerys calling it Boat Sex. Of course the HBO show didn't hesistate to show the actual sex.
