So! The official trailer came out today, showing a closer look at Nicole Kidman as Lucy. I think she looks OK. Her face is pulled a little tight lol. What do you guys think?!

Even more intriguing than the teaser trailer. What gets me is the way Kidman has nailed Ball's real-life speaking voice. Impressive.
As suspected, they're focusing partly on the 1953 red scare. The filmmakers obviously didn't trust that the episode rehearsed and shot that week, "The Girls Buy a Dress Shop" was strong enough for the movie "story", so they have dialogue from "Jealous of Girl Singer" (from the FIRST apartment, not the second, as shown here) and "Lucy's Italian Movie", which of course, is from season five in 1956 - in Europe!
Still, this does look intriguing. Will be interesting to see what the reviews will be like.
Yes, I noticed the episode switching and apartment thing too! I guess they took some liberties there. I think Nicole probably looks best when she has the classic "Lucy" hair. Hopefully it will be a compelling story and good acting. I am intrigued as well!
