3 out of 10. This movie sucks. It has nothing to do with 1972 and 1990 versions. Just pathetic, the story is a complete invention. VERY dissapointing.

What are you talking about? It goes by the book! Have you READ the book?

I have read the book three times. The most faithful version is the 1990 one. Maybe YOU haven't read the book.

Actually, I have. Maybe the other versions are MORE faithful, but the Disney version is definitely not a "complete invention". And just because the others are more faithful to the book doesn't mean this one is any worse. Directors do take some liberties when making a book into a movie; after all, it IS their film.
