Not a one. Do you think this is mainly a boys' movie, or would girl's like it too?

I'm a girl (woman) and I liked it. I've always been really tomboyish, though. I'd say more boys like it than girls.

There are some children and women extras in the Bristol street scenes, but apart from that, the entire cast is male.

Loved it as a little girl, love it as an old lady… and why wouldn't we enjoy a movie of all men? Seems just about perfect ;-)

No, the boy's mother is mentioned in the film, but never seen.
