The Killer That Stalked New York
and this film have basically the same plot and were released the same year. But I think Killer is a much better film.
I like "Killer........" better also. I tried hard to get into "Panic in the Streets" when it was on TCM recently but I realized after an hour that it wasn't holding my attention, when it should have. Maybe because there was too much of a gangster storyline than of the medical aspect of a feared plague (at least in the first part)?
I see this is one that can be watched online so I will try it again there.
