shareI agree - this is long overdue for DVD release. One of Joan's best.
shareA friend of mine bought it online from region 2, it's available in Spain. It hasn't been released anywhere else that I know.

I had to buy it from someone who taped it off of TCM but unfortunately it looks terrible on a large screen TV. They should do a double DVD of Harriet Craig and Craig's Wife. I think it would be terrific. Unfortunately, I doubt they are ever going to release them and do it justice. I have the DVD for Queen Bee and if I remember correctly, it was a horrible transfer. I haven't watched it in ages.
Then you have the BS like Warner's Archives or these companies that make "made to order" DVD's but don't even put in a simple thing like subtitles for the hearing impaired...and charge an arm and a leg for the privilege. I don't mind paying, but give the customer SOMETHING!
Remember us, for we too have lived, loved and laughed
I watched Queen Bee for the first time on DVD last spring, and while a great movie, the transfer was pretty dull, and little "Bee" couldn't hold a candle to HARRIET CRAIG. Well, actually, she'd probably force CLAIRE to hold the candle.
"Oh no, darling, NOT TOO CLOSE TO MY FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!."
(Slaps Claire a few times, Claire whimpers, Harriet orders her to stop crying)
"WHAT IN GOD'S NAME IS WRONG WITH YOU?"
"YOU SIT STILL NOW!"
I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked.
