One of few chances to see Barbara Payton in her prime. She is with the very under-rated Steve Cochran a compulsive womaniser famous for his 'endowments'. Barbara fell harder and faster and lower than any starlet in the history of Hollywood. Check out her compulsively readable biography 'Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye' it is jaw-dropping, shocking and terriblys sad.

She has a small part in this, though. She's only in about three short scenes. And you can count the number of closeups she gets on one hand.
