How do you think Eleanor Parker's handling of being shaved and thrown into solitary compares to how Natalie Portman handled it in "V for Vendetta?"
It seems Portman came out stronger while Parker regressed. A change in times or?
I think part of it is that we were supposed to sympathize with Parker's naivete, while in Portman's case we expected her to overcome it all. Personally, I like Parker's better, but that's probably because I liked Caged better, so I'm biased.
