A petty question ;)

It's not really important, but I'd still like to know how other people interpret Lon's answer when Angela asks him whether she did 'alright' (or something to that effect), after she'd just cracked under the pressure and basically confessed that his alibi was a lie.

He says: "You did alright... Considering."
(The quote may not be entirely accurate.)

The investigators weren't inhumanely hard on her, so "considering"... WHAT?

I think he just means that she's a young and ... well, very "blonde" girl. (And that's also what he likes in her, so she's forgiven.)

Thank you, Christian.
I must say you put it very well. ;)

"You did alright. . .Considering" (that you are a retard).

Yes, she's a retard, a real thumb-sucking bimbo. That's offensive as hell, but nobody ever died from being offended.

I think he realized that he had no chance of getting out of it at that point. The cops basically came to them with everything all figured out. Having her confession made everything much cleaner, but it didnt seem like they were relying heavily on that.

He was smart enough to see that and realize that it wasnt worth dragging her deeper into the mess and getting her into deeper trouble.

Truthfully, she didnt do a bad job. She fooled the cops completely the first time and it was only because of other evidence that they doubted the alibi.
