knock off of criss cross
the armored car heist with its tear gas, gas masks, has strong parallels with burt lancaster's criss cross heist.
shareThe heist sure was similar to the one featured in Criss Cross. I don't know how long shooting and editing takes but it seems that they must have hurried seeing as Criss Cross was released in 1949 and Armored Car Robbery was from 1950.
Either that or it is just a happy coincidence.
