You'd never guess that considering they've given it the Heave-ho as far as DVD releases are concerned. They're still even selling this dvd in those old snap cases. Why no special editions? Why don't they milk this one like they do others?

Prophets matter
According to most sources it was the top grossing MGM musical of the golden era. I agree though they need to stop with those old snap cases if they're still manufacturing new copies however I suspect it may have been initially produced in such a huge quality (I remember full page ads in major magazines!) they still haven't sold all the first printing.
