Anyone on here ever seen...

the short-lived "George Burns Show" spin-off in which the focus was now on his office and of course no Gracie. I've only read about this show and wish it would air just to see what it was like. I'm sure it wasn't that great, but it is still historically significant for fans. I'm guessing it hasn't aired since it was on CBS.

I expect you're right. I'd love to see it too, even though it probably isn't that good.

I have a copy of one episode guest starring Carol Channing.

The problem with this show is that midway they dropped the sitcom format and went to a variety show (like Jack Benny) and then near the end of the run, it went back to a sitcom!

Given the various drastic changes throughout the "Burns and Allen" show's run, it sucks that they haven't included "The George Burns Show" in Antannae TV's package. From what I've read it sounds like it began as a continuation of the final season with all of the cast/crew intact except Gracie -- Bonnie Sue is even credited in a bunch of episodes! I really wish Sony would release both shows uncut (the syndication prints are obviously and badly butchered), even if it's just download/burn-on-demand... but this is Sony after all, so I'm not holding my breath.
