I thought I was the only one anticipating this episode! Happy to hear others are watching and anticipating upcoming episodes as well!

I'm in the process of recording the B&A episodes and I made certain to get these two!

Harry Von Zell barking like a dog every time he saw the hypnotist's swinging monocle was very funny! It was strange to see Ronnie doing part of the end sketch with George after Gracie walked off the stage (as her character had been hypnotized into being the smartest woman in the world and she was no longer interested in show business!).

These later episodes (featuring Ronnie Burns, with George watching the episode as it happens in "real time" on his TV in the den) are the best episodes of the series in my opinion. The earliest episodes (the live kinescopes from 1950-52) are the weakest.

I keep hoping against hope that Sony will eventually release B&A under their burn-on-demand DVD program. (I know they'll never get a commercial release on pressed DVD's!) Needless to say, I would buy the entire series on DVD if it were available!

Saw it for the first time the other night and enjoyed it immensely! Sorry it isn't available on DVD either. "Hypnotizing Gracie" was also wonderful!! Besides George Burns, I also enjoy watching and listening to Bea Benaderet since she was the voice of Betty Rubble, another childhood memory of mine.

Now that I finally discovered Antenna TV, B & A are the highlight of my day (night)!

That also happens to be the last episode, so a fitting ending I suppose.

This is episode 22 of Season 8 (the final season). There were 39 episodes in Season 8. The show continued on for 6 more months.

I just started a new post on this (Feb 2015) a I hadn't realized there was an older post on it.

Yes, the two parter with Gracie being a genius was indeed "brilliant" with some great sub-plots from the storyline.

My only complaint was that they could have used this occasion to have Grace and Harry Morton go toe to toe with an ultimate exhange of literary witticisms. That would have been spectacular to witness, they missed the boat on that!
