watched it today, a great movie and a fine transfer. joan bennet and james bason are stunning, it just feels that it was a little bit too short, their sympathy (on masons behalf it was much more) problably should have received more time/attention. but again, a wonderful movie. thanks for your message.

Wow, I wasn't aware it was released on DVD. Finally! This is such a terrific little movie, easily one of my favourite late-40s noirs. I'll have to pick up this DVD asap.
