The brother and the horrible overdubbing


There is not one single scene where you see the brother speaking in closeup it is so obvious his voice is dubbed by someone trying to sound like an adolescent. I wonder what the reason behind this was? To me that godawful voice was the only bad thing in an otherwise great film.

Agreed! It seemed as if they were trying to make some sort of comedic element out of the brother. Totally wrong for this movie. Strange that they left in the singing voice, which was quite different and "older" sounding. But maybe that was part of the comedy.

There seemed to be an issue with the brother being improperly dressed or under-dressed in every scene.

The 'brother' has a name and it is David in real life, as well as his character in the movie.
