Best British film ever made

Yep, betther than The Third man, better than Trainspotting and better than just about anything else in not only British cinema, but cinematic history as a whole. Terrific movie thats both amusingly dark and sadistically ironic, quite simply a fabulous piece of work.

I just about almost agree with you...I have watched this movie countless times and will watch it until I can no more!

My favorite British movie is The Dark Knight Rises (2012). I rate it 10/10 and it's my third favorite movie. The Lady Vanishes (1938) is right after this movie.

It's a toss-up. "The Ladykillers" (also starting Sir Alec Guinness) was darkly funny as well.

Watta ya lookn here for?

I think that title belongs to Brazil (1985)
