I know its been done such as shop around the corner and you got male but i think they should remake this movie exactly. I could ttly see it as a modern day version. With more of a cluttered music store. I could possibly see Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhall as the leads.

Actually this was made after The Shop Around The Corner, so this a remake of that if anything. Really all of them are based on the same stage play so they are not really remakes, just different versions of the same story. So your saying this is your favorite version and they should just remake this movie?

I love this movie, but I don't see how an exact remake would work. You've Got Mail used email, and I don't think too many in my generation hand-write letters anymore.
