Does Irene (Hayward) almost break character?

Around the 13:30 minute mark, she gets slapped... HARD... and she looks like she's about to crack up. What a great slap, though, that must've stung lol

Actually, it was very much IN character. Her half-wry smile was to indicate an almost sadomasochistic streak in Irene.
