The musical score in this film was just excellent. It was really gripping - From the roll of introductory credits onwards.

Schubert's 8th is audible in this Stanwyck flic, but it is heard to better effect in her "Double Indemnity", when Freddy Mac takes the victim's daughter to an outdoor concert (at a representation of what may be the Hollywood Bowl).
