Thank goodness Loni came along to correct all the mistakes made in the original version of this film!!

She just puts so much more nuance into the role than that hack Stanwyck. That platinum hair, those luscious lips! Smashing! And is there a better man to step into the shoes of Burt Lancaster than the great Carl Weintraub? I think not!

I understand Loni also has remade A Letter to Three Wives, Three Coins in the Fountain and put a country & western spin on All About Eve with Country Gold (featuring a pre-Terminator Linda Hamilton in the skanky "Eve Harrington" role).

Rock on Loni! Now that you're older maybe you can be Auntie Mame or Martha in Who's Afraid of Virgina Woolf?. Those alleged classics are in desperate need of your retouching.

Loni Anderson an actress? Was she as good (not), as she was in the made for TV movie, based on the book- "Hot Toddy", which was about Thema Todd.

Loni Anderson in a remake of Sorry Wrong Number. What crap. Just looking at the poster you can tell it's a piece of rubbish. The low rating only reaffirms what an inferior movie the Loni version is. I can't believe someone actually thought casting Loni as the lead was a good idea. Maybe in the bizzaro world but even that is a stretch. Waste of time.

Well, don't flame me, but I have to stick in my oar for Loni. I really enjoyed her and Patrick Duffy in the remake of "Leave Her to Heaven," and when I got the chance to rent the original, I wasn't that impressed with it. Just me.

I didn't know Loni A. did a remake of "Leave Her To Heaven." Just in the looks catagory alone, she's 6 to Gene Tierney's 10+.

Haha, well said, Lord Lustworthy! These so-called "classics" are badly in need of updating.

I'm surprised you didn't mention how badly the film stock on this movie has faded -- the movie is now effectively black and white.

And people smoking, smoking, smoking. I hope the Loni Anderson version substituted herbal tea. After all, murderers and schemers don't have to be self-destructive.
