I might have missed something. Was Miss Somerville supposed to be an actual nurse at the hospital who became a patient there later in the movie? I thought she might've been introduced as one of the nurses in a scene previous to the one with the "invisible thermometer."
shareYes, she was. It's been a while since I saw the film so I can't remember which scenes we saw a functioning Miss Somerville in earlier, but I think there was one or two.
Interestingly, a similar thing happened in "The Nun's Story," but I think it was only in the book, not the movie.
