I've seen Gone With The Wind and thought she looked good in that movie too. However, I really liked her in this movie. She was truly stunning in this.

Well, she didn't even wear makeup in this film. After I saw her, I said:"Why should she wear makeup at all? She looks great without it!"

In certain scenes she looked very good, but I don't like what they decided to do with her eyebrows--whiting them out so she would look less well groomed. It gave her dark eyes too much contrast with those lightened brows. However, her performance was certainly stunning.

I thought she was lovely in "In This Our Life" with Bette Davis.

I didn't find her attractive at all in Gone With the Wind (hard to notice anyone other than Vivien Leigh in that one) but thought she was radiantly beautiful in this. I was actually surprised that I found her so attractive considering the less than glamorous nature of her role.

We'll see whose the filthiest person alive! We'll just see!

I've always loved Olivia de Havilland in everything she's in. However, I've never thought she was particularly attractive, even in this movie. She has those little rings under her eyes and she is othersize somewhat homely, in my opinion. But I love her just the same!

yup. I am once again smitten by a type of woman that just doesn't exist anymore...last week it was Lee Remick...this week, it's the just-plain-lovely Ms DeHavilland

For my money, Olivia was the most naturally beautiful actress of all time. I was watching one of the extra's on the "Gone with the Wind" blue ray and she talked about how they asked her if she wanted Melanie to be plain or beautiful and she told them "plain".

Well, that simply proved that it is imposible for Olivia not to look great. She was the most beautiful thing in that picture.

She's beautiful and there is just something so likeable and compelling about her, an inner glow. I think that's part of why there was so much ambiguity in her portrayal of The Heiress. You just didn't want to believe that de Havilland was capable of deceit or murder.
