Movie Location and Howard Hawks

Red River was shot in southern Arizona on a private ranch near Elgin and Sonoita. Not too long ago I read a great biography on Hawks and it went into some interesting detail on the shooting of Red River, along with some amusing anecdotes on Wayne, Montogomery Clift, JoAnn Dru and John Ireland. A great read...wish I could give you the nake of it.
