Colorized Version Excellent Quality?

I know there was a colorized version of this movie and normally colorized versions of black & white films don't look good however there are exceptions and I've heard nothing but praise for how beautiful this movie looks in color.
Anyone here seen it in color or have any thoughts?

Yes. I am very much opposed to this practice, but they showed the colorized version on TCM or MGM Movie channel over here (Netherlands), can't remember which. Curiosity got the better of me, and I watched it. And I have to say it looks suprisingly good. It was obviously done with care and attention for detail.
However, the movie was shot in B&W including all the camera and lighting choices that come with shooting it in B&W, so that one is still the one to go for.
