Robinson speaks pig latin?

Watched the dvd with captions on, and one scene had no captions. It was when the gang discovered the boat is gone, and then Rocco and Curly speak to each other in gibberish (with no captions). Then Rocco smiles and says that McCloud can use the boat. Were they speaking a foreign language? I didn't recognize it. It sounded like gibberish to me.

I always wondered what language Rocco and Curly were using myself. According to the Captions function on my TV, they are speaking Italian. I hope that this helps.

It was mumbled so I couldn't understand all of what they were saying, but I could tell it was definitely (poorly pronounced) Italian.
