Do you think Clarire Trevor deserved thr Oscar?

She was very good, but the only other film from that category I've seen is Johnny Belinda, so its hard to say.

Yea. It was definitely an Oscar worthy performance.

Yeah, I think she deserved it. She pulled it out all the stops, but it works.

Yes, she was amazing playing a alcoholic at the mercy of Rocco, but in the end she redeemed herself.

Yes, I do. She was superb in this role. She played a woman breaking down, but she didn't chew up the scenery. And yet we felt so uncomfortable watching her...she reached in and pulled a part of you OUT and you didn't quite know where to put it back.
