What Happened to Meacham?

The corrupt indian agent Silas Meacham is present at the discussion between Thursday and Cochise. And apparently he rides in Thursday's command group for a while the next day.

Thursday's command group includes, Meacham, a bugler, 2 officers, presumably captains commanding two companies, Capt. Collingwood, and Captain York, which would make a total of four companies present.

After York and Thursday argue, Thursday relieves York from command of his company and sends him to command the wagon train. York rides off. And I don' t think that I see Meacham when York rides off or afterwards. So I don't know if Meacham foolishly rode with Thrusday or rode somewhere else.

Okay, I just now saw a clip of that scene where Meacham is beyond Thursday as Thursday relieves York of command and before York rides off.

But I don't remember seeing Meacham in any scenes of the charge, or in the last stand, or back at the wagons.
