What a performance -- he must have had a great time, especially his little jabs at breaking the 4th wall, such as the line "...walking around like zombies" followed by a quick knowing wink at the camera (weren't they drinking zombies?)

sharehe was so good in this, as well as Dial M For Murder, in fact these two characters were pretty similar i thought, they are both caught in a murder investigation and have to cut themselves loose from it somehow
