I can't believe how high they wear their pants
I know it was the basic style in those days but, every time I watch this I always trip on just how high up they wear their pants. Especially Lou.

shareHa, I think it all the time, if I see someone with their pants pulled up too high (but I noticed it more on Bud).
shareUhh pants are suppose to be worn that high. I'm in my 20's and I wear them like that. It's not nerdy or anything like that...IS IT?
shareI can't believe how low kids wear their pants today.

I did sixty in five minutes once...
Amen to that. Even in the 90's they wore it that low. I watch pro wrestling and back then, there was a guy who wrestled all the time with his jeans so low you could see the top of his underwear. An older, semi-retired wrestler was commentating one of his matches and said, "He needs to pull his drawers up."
I say go watch an episode of Family Matters or Steve Urkel and you'll see how high is too high for pants.
TV Land used to do a bit about "The Pants That Swallowed Fred Mertz," of I Love Lucy, and showed Fred's pants waist getting higher and higher and higher. It was hilarious.

better than seeing everyone's crusty azz cracks of today.
Swing away, Merrill....Merrill, swing away...share
I'm half joking when I say this but it was a time when women who showed their belly button was considered an act of sexual liberation. There might have been a similar but less stringent rule for men in case their shirts could not cover their whole stomach.
shareNah, its a plot hole. No one in those times wore their pants that high
shareHigh pants, and don't forget the short neckties.
