Who was the 'actor' who 'played' the baby?

This is also one of my favorite John Wayne movies. This and, 'The Quiet Man'. I am not a Wayne fan in the least, but, I appreciated these two movies with him very much.

According to IMDB, The "actor" who portrayed the baby is Robert William Pedro Hightower.

IMDB lists the 'actor' as Amelia Yelda, a girl? The baby was on it's tummy during the greasing so who would know.
