Yes,she always reminded me as well of a miniature Veronica Lake because of her hair, from the first time I saw the film, many years ago.
She also starred (as a supporting player) in the film "The Return of the Cat People", something like that. Cute girl.
It's entitled "The Curse of the Cat People".
