The ending really disappointed me (Spoiler)

The ending was a big letdown for me...

I was thinking that she had not killed David, that she had imagined it, like she had other things.

I was disappointed also but for different reason; I was hoping that Dean would smother her with the pillow.

I thot it should have ended in the hospital bed with overhead camera and Joan shrieking, "David! David!" after she's finally remembered everything.

All that explanatory psycho babble afterward was static and boring.
