Was Lilith in Cheers named after this film's Lilith?
I think so, but does anyone have concrete proof?

I think there's been a number of them to chose from but since this one had a PhD you can go with it.

I always assumed that the Lilith in Cheers was named for Adam's first wife, and that this character was, as well.

I've never seen Cheers but have watched most episodes of Frasier. I can sort of see the similarities between Helen Walker's Lilith and Cheers/Frasier's Lilith, especially when they first meet and she has her hair in an updo and was rather cold and stiff toward him. It kind of reminded me of Frasier's Lilith a bit. I didn't know that this film was that well-known and stumbled across it only by accident. If there is a connection, that'll be pretty awesome.
