Stan's Fall Too Abrupt

Very good movie but it's 2 hours long and it seemed it only took the last 15-20 minutes for his character to fall from the top. Also, there didn't seem to be enough forces to cause his fall. He was spooked a bit by the cards and then there's the God dialogue with his wife and finally the psyho-analyst but it just didn't seem enough to realistically cause him to fall to his state at the end of the movie. There needed to be some more drastic forces at work to do that.

I agree, it was a great movie, but Stan's fall should have been more extreme. It didn't really seem plausible that being a geek was his only option. This is where the film felt a little bit forced. But otherwise, it's great.

I also agree, but think you meant to say his fall should have been much less extreme.

Didn't make sense how such a savvy street smart guy turns to jello like that.
