Plot Hole
What idiot would give some dishonest person $150,000 to keep for him? Also the late time $1000 bills were issued was in 1932. I doubt if you could get 150 of them anywhere.
share$1000 bills and all denominations above $100 continued to be used by banks for decades after they were printed. It's not a plot hole in the slightest.
